Class A CDL Driver -
Oilfield Operations Location:
Southwestern Pennsylvania Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to join our oilfield operations team in Southwestern Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of equipment, materials, water, and other products to and from drilling sites. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and on-call schedules as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, winch trucks, dump trucks and water trucks (when applicable). Transport heavy equipment, water, drilling materials, and other oilfield-related products to various job sites. Safely navigate steep grades, narrow lease roads, unimproved access roads, muddy conditions, and other challenging terrain commonly found at oil and gas well sites. Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and shipping documentation in compliance with DOT regulations. Load and unload equipment and materials as required. Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and customer site requirements. Communicate effectively with supervisors and field personnel. Assist with general labor and support tasks at job sites when needed. Respond to changing work schedules and weather conditions while maintaining a professional attitude.
Qualifications:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Current DOT Medical Card. Clean driving record with the ability to meet company insurance requirements. Tanker endorsement preferred (or willingness to obtain). Previous oilfield, construction, heavy hauling, or off-road driving experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to safely operate commercial vehicles on steep grades, uneven terrain, gravel roads, and in adverse weather conditions. Ability to work long hours and occasionally weekends. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of DOT regulations and FMCSA compliance. Experience operating manual transmissions and heavy equipment. Familiarity with hydraulic systems, water transfer, or drilling support services is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment:
This position is based in the oil and gas fields of Southwestern Pennsylvania and requires working outdoors in all weather conditions. Drivers regularly operate on steep hillsides, narrow lease roads, rough terrain, and remote well locations where mud, snow, ice, and uneven ground are common. The ability to safely maneuver large commercial vehicles in these demanding conditions while maintaining strict safety standards is essential. Drivers should expect physically demanding work, irregular schedules, and travel to various well sites throughout the region.

From $22.00 per hour
