Job Description

The Commercial Driver Training Manager is responsible for overseeing the school bus driver CDL training program. recruiting driver candidates and conducting training for potential new hires ensuring training is completed according to federal, state, district, and company requirements submitting required paperwork to the state conducting driver in-service training retraining of existing drivers scheduling coordinating with trainers to ensure candidates are moving through the process quickly and efficiently The CDL Training Manager will also be responsible for aiding the Safety Coordinator in accident investigation, employee retraining, and other safety related functions. This position requires transporting students in emergency situations and staff shortages. Applicants must be a Pennsylvania State Certified School Bus Instructor.
