No Loading or Unloading:

You won't be responsible for loading or unloading the freight. You'll secure and tarp the loads and handle the transportation.

What You'll Do as a Regional Class A CDL Driver Haul a variety of commercial flatbed loads throughout the Midwest based on available freight. Return to Pennsylvania with treated lumber backhauls. Complete approximately two trips per week, typically spending 3-4 nights on the road. Secure each load using the proper straps and equipment before getting on the road. Tarp treated lumber and other loads as required and remove tarps and straps upon arrival. Drive a dedicated Western Star tractor with sleeper cab and 48-foot flatbed trailer. Inspect your truck, trailer, and load to ensure everything is safe and road-ready. Communicate professionally with customers and handle situations that arise while on the road. Follow all DOT regulations and safe driving practices.

Our Ideal Regional Class A CDL Driver Qualified:

Hold a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record and 3+ years of commercial driving experience. Must be at least 25 years of age.

Safety-Conscious:

Aware of your surroundings while driving and securing flatbed loads.

Active:

Able to climb on trucks and trailers and safely strap and tarp flatbed loads.

Good Communicator:

Interacts respectfully and politely with customers.

Work independently, manage your time, and solve problems that come up on the road.
