Full-Time About the Position We are a locally based dumpster and demolition company looking for a motivated, dependable, and safety-minded CDL Driver with a valid Class A or Class B CDL to join our transportation team. As a CDL Driver, you'll play an important role in our day-to-day operations, handling dumpster deliveries and pickups while representing our company with professionalism and courtesy. We're looking for someone who takes pride in safe driving, reliable service, and keeping equipment in excellent condition. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations, state laws, and company safety standards. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical or safety concerns promptly. Safely navigate local roads and job sites (we work with a lot of builders!) while following traffic laws, signals, and designated routes. Complete dumpster deliveries, pickups, and related services efficiently and professionally. Provide friendly, courteous service when interacting with customers, job-site personnel, and team members. Maintain accurate records (particularly dump slips). Communicate vehicle maintenance needs to the Operations Manager. Operate safely and responsibly in a variety of weather and road conditions. Maintain a clean, professional, and safety-conscious approach while representing the company. Qualifications & Experience Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or Class B). Clean and acceptable driving record. Previous experience operating DOT-labeled commercial vehicles, waste-hauling equipment, or heavy-duty construction equipment preferred. Knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and commercial vehicle safety requirements. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently while also being a team player. Comfortable operating commercial vehicles in various weather and road conditions. Familiarity with Jobber and/or BoxTracker is a plus, but not required. Must be willing and able to pass a pre-employment drug test. Must agree to random Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks during employment, as required by our commercial auto insurance carrier. Must agree to random drug tests during the course of employment.
