Delivery Driver Job Overview:

Guardian Route Solutions is looking for dependable, hardworking FedEx Delivery Drivers to safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and business customers. As a Delivery Driver, you will represent Guardian Route Solutions and FedEx while providing professional customer service and completing deliveries safely and on time. This is a hands-on, fast-paced delivery job that requires physical activity, safe driving, organization, and the ability to work independently. Delivery Driver Responsibilities Safely operate a company delivery vehicle in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety policies Deliver approximately 90-150 stops per day Follow assigned delivery routes and complete deliveries efficiently and on time Load and unload packages safely using proper lifting techniques Lift and carry packages throughout the workday Provide professional and courteous customer service Organize packages inside the delivery vehicle for efficient access Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns Maintain accurate delivery records and proof of delivery Follow all FedEx Ground, DOT, and company safety procedures Work independently while maintaining productivity and delivery quality Work outdoors and in various weather conditions Delivery Driver Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older Valid driver's license Acceptable/clean driving record Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 75 lbs. Must be able to maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs. using a hand truck Ability to work in all types of weather Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Good communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Must pass a DOT physical Must pass a drug test, including marijuana Must be willing to participate in required/random drug screening during employment Must pass a FedEx Ground third-party background check Must comply with applicable DOT and company safety requirements Why Join Guardian Route Solutions?
