Job Description

Clean Harbors is seeking a safety-focused Regional Class B Driver to support our Transportation & Logistics operations. In this role, you will operate Class B vehicles to transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials between customer sites and Clean Harbors facilities. You will perform safe loading/unloading, complete required DOT and company documentation, and conduct pre/post-trip inspections. Working within a safety-first, environmentally responsible culture, you'll support emergency response or scheduled routes, maintain regulatory compliance, and deliver excellent customer service while representing our environmental mission on the road. Responsibilities Operate Class B commercial vehicles on regional routes following DOT regulations and company policies Transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials between customer locations and Clean Harbors facilities Perform safe loading and unloading using appropriate equipment and procedures Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects Maintain accurate logs, manifests, and regulatory documentation Follow all safety, environmental, and hazardous waste handling procedures Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and facility staff Support emergency spill response or special projects as required Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to company safety programs Assist with basic vehicle and equipment cleanliness and upkeep Required Skills Class B CDL operation Hazardous materials handling DOT compliance and logging Pre/post-trip inspections Load securement Tanker or box truck operation Basic vehicle troubleshooting Reading shipping papers/manifests PPE use and safety procedures Time management and routing
