Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Box Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating box trucks to deliver freight and goods across various routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will be essential in maintaining our high standards of service. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks, including those with refrigerated trailers, along over-the-road (OTR) routes and local delivery areas Load and unload freight efficiently, adhering to proper manual handling procedures and logistics cargo handling standards Navigate using GPS systems to follow designated delivery routes accurately and efficiently Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and hazardous goods handling protocols Transport automobile parts, freight, or hazardous materials such as dangerous goods or tanker loads as required Ensure the secure loading, unloading, and transportation of cargo while maintaining compliance with safety regulations Perform routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and maintain cleanliness of the truck to ensure optimal operation Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean and safe driving record Previous experience operating a box truck required Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for truck driving Must be able to pass random drug test Experience with loading, unloading, and properly securing cargo Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient deliveries Must be dependable, punctual, and able to communicate professionally with customers Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance on all over-the-road routes Must follow all company and safety procedures and transportation requirements

Pay:

$750.00 - $1,700.00 per week
