Description Ultra-Poly is seeking talented individuals to join our Trucking team in Portland, PA. We are hiring full-time CDL A Truck Drivers to deliver finished goods to our customers. We have our own fleet of tractors, trailers, and tankers that allow us to handle our customers' and suppliers' logistics reliably and efficiently. We offer a starting hourly range of $28.00 to $32.00 depending on experience. Ultra-Poly is one of North America's largest and most efficient plastic recyclers. We are a family-owned and operated manufacturer located along the scenic Delaware Water Gap. Portland is conveniently located along the Delaware Water Gap and within 30 minutes of Stroudsburg, Easton, Brodheadsville, Mt. Pocono, and Hackettstown, NJ. Ultra-Poly Offers Overtime paid after 8 hours/40 hours
Monday - Friday work week

Safety bonuses Responsibilities Ensure contents are properly secured in a truck to prevent damage/injury
Obtain signatures to confirm and complete deliveries
Assist in mapping driving routes
Ensure timely transport and delivery
Communicate with dispatch as needed
Confirm that the contents of each shipment load match the manifest document
Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip
Check weather conditions and road reports before departure
Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean
Maintain and schedule service as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc.)
Notify the manager of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered
Follow the delivery schedule and rest at appropriate times
No-touch freight
Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs
Track and report working hours
Adhere to company rules and regulations
Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather/road conditions
Comply with DOT regulations
Make safety a priority at all times
2 to 3 overnights a week with per diem
Passport a plus CDL A Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications A valid commercial driver's license (CDL A) required
3+ years of proven experience in commercial truck driving preferred
Clean driving record with no moving violations
Must pass a background check, physical, and drug test
Has or is willing to obtain a passport for runs to Toronto Canada
Skilled at driving and parking manual tractors and large, heavy vehicles
Alert, focused and detail-oriented
Physically and mentally fit
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time
Proficient in using GPS and other routing systems
Map reading and route planning experience
Self-starter who works well independently
Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
High level of composure and good stress management Additional Details
