Position Summary The Driver is responsible for safely transporting clients to and from appointments, programs, and community activities while ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and safety. Key Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to transport clients according to scheduled routes and appointments. Assist clients entering and exiting vehicles, ensuring safety and dignity. Maintain accurate transportation logs and mileage records. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly. Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures. Communicate effectively with staff regarding scheduling and client needs. Provide courteous and respectful service to clients at all times. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to assist individuals with mobility challenges. Prior experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and assist clients with mobility devices. Ability to sit for extended periods and operate a vehicle safely.
