CDL Truck Driver Reynoldsville, PA 2 DAYS AGO 22642826 Summary Reynoldsville, PA In-Person $21.50 - $21.50 per Hour 2 Years Experience High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED) No Commission 20.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Part-Time / Hours May Vary Description CDL Recycling Truck Driver (Part-Time) Position Summary Responsible for operating recycling collection truck to service 8-yard front-load containers throughout the county, transporting recyclable materials to the recovery facility, and assisting with recycling site maintenance as needed. Schedule Monday through Thursday (occasionally Friday) Approximately 2-3 days per week 15-16 hours minimum and 22-24 hours maximum per week Weekly hours vary based on recycling material volumes and route needs Key Responsibilities Operate CDL trucks on established recycling collection routes. Collect and transport recyclable materials to the recovery facility. Operate hydraulic lifting and hoisting equipment to empty recycling containers. Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues. Complete route, collection, and equipment reports. Maintain truck cleanliness and safe operating condition. Communicate route delays, safety concerns, accidents, or equipment issues to the Authority Director. Assist with recycling site maintenance, container installation/removal, and related duties. Operate pickup trucks and trailers as needed. Qualifications Valid CDL Class B license required. Minimum two years of CDL truck driving experience. Experience operating diesel-powered, air-brake-equipped trucks (38,000+ GVW). Knowledge of hydraulic equipment operation preferred. Experience towing and operating trailers preferred. Clean driving record. Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening. High school diploma or equivalent. Working Conditions Travel throughout the county in Authority vehicles. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Frequent climbing, walking, bending, lifting, and material handling. Occasional extended hours due to weather, holidays, or equipment breakdowns.
