Description

GENERAL SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Resident Care Coordinator, the Allied Terrace Van Service Driver is responsible for the transportation of any and all residents to and from physician's appointments and any other medical needs deemed necessary. Assigned duties are implemented in a manner appropriate to the age-specific needs of the individuals served.

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Previous experience driving multi-passenger vehicles preferred. Capable of scheduling/modifying resident's appointments with doctor office's preferred.

SPECIAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

Valid PA driver's license required. Must successfully complete Allied's Driver Training Program as stated by policy 2.43, including vision and hearing screenings. Certifications in C.P.R. and First Aid preferred. Good verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills required for effective, compassionate communication with residents required. Requirements
