Manfredi Companies is a mid-size company that specializes in cold storage, international repacking, logistics services, inland transportation, and national freight services. Since the 1930s, Manfredi Companies has evolved from a humble farming operation to a full-service environmentally controlled storage facility, complemented with packing and logistics services needed to keep products on the go. Job Description CDL-Class A Driver will be responsible for local port-to-warehouse and warehouse-to-port transport of international containers and trailers in the Philadelphia, Wilmington, South Jersey and Chester County areas.Job Responsibilities :
- Conduct pre-trip inspection in accordance with Department of Transportation regulation(s)
- Hook-up to your assigned empty trailer or shipping container and travel to your instructed destination
- Drive and operate 18-wheeler trucks
- Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed
- Make multiple deliveries/trips as designated by dispatch on a daily basis
- Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance reporting; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times
Qualifications :
- Strong working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations and practices
- Preferred at least two (2) years CDL driving experience
- Training offered
