Job Description

Full-time | Steady work | Room to move up Pay range: $20.00-$23.00 an hour based on experience. We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused DOT Certified Box Truck Driver to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road during the day, working local routes. No overnight travel — you'll be home every day. We are especially looking for someone eager to grow with the company, take on more responsibility, and build a long-term career.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a 26' box truck with lift gate for local deliveries Follow assigned routes and ensure timely, same-day deliveries Load and unload materials using proper safety techniques and equipment Verify orders for accuracy and collect delivery confirmations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain DOT compliance and adhere to all safety regulations and company policies Keep accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and materials Communicate with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth delivery operations Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers Support warehouse operations, including: Detailed order picking General material handling Forklift operation Contribute to a positive team environment and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow. Preferred Qualifications Preferred experience as a box truck driver or delivery driver. Strong knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations. Excellent driving skills with commitment to safety. Ability to meet the physical demands of loading/unloading materials. Strong communication and customer service abilities. Willingness to grow and take on additional responsibilities. A valid driver's license is required. Basic math skills for verifying quantities and simple transactions. Close attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Ability to work independently and follow instructions. No weekend work, only M-F with overtime available. Work hours 6:00 am- 4:30 pm
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience as a box truck or delivery driver preferred (not required) Valid driver's license and ability to meet DOT requirements Strong understanding of local roads and safe driving practices Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs Basic math and attention to detail for order accuracy Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Willingness to learn and grow within the company
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Overtime available No weekends, no overnight travel

Lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs as part of regular job tasks. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb in and out of the truck throughout the workday. Sit for extended periods while operating the vehicle. Work in a variety of weather conditions during deliveries. Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, and similar tools. Sit for extended periods while operating a forklift. Perform repetitive motions associated with loading, unloading, and warehouse activities.
