Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Box Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves local delivery, and pick-up of goods, ensuring timely and safe transportation. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service and safe driving practices. Duties Safely operate a box truck for local deliveries and pickups along designated routes Load and unload cargo using manual handling methods Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and delivery equipment Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during route driving Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure proper functioning Handle heavy lifting and moving tasks as required for cargo handling Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Preferred experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or similar vehicles Experience with commercial driving, route driving, and heavy lifting techniques Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles safely Strong customer service skills with professional communication abilities Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, moving, and vehicle operation Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual labor as needed This role is vital for ensuring efficient delivery operations while maintaining high standards of safety and customer satisfaction. The hours for this position are every second and fourth Saturday from 10:00am-2:00pm. Other opportunities may arise throughout the week.
