Responsibilities and Duties:
Operate a tractor trailer to pre-load dry bulk tankers Follow a predetermined schedule; maintain short haul (exempt) logs. No ELD required! Ability to maneuver and back truck in a safe manner Ability to operate dump valves Ability to complete required documentation Inspect truck equipment and supplies as required, including lights, brakes, fuel, oil and coolant, raising hood, climb to clean windshield and mirrors Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein
Physical Requirements:
Meet Department of Transportation medical, drug and alcohol qualifications Operation of vehicle up to 10 hours per day depending on schedule, 40-60 hours per week, less than 12 hours daily Cranking dolly legs on trailers when hooking up and dropping Open and close valves to handle material Climb 3 feet with steps to hook airlines May be required to work in adverse weather
