Job Description

CDL Class A Semi Truck Driver — Flatbed / Oilfield / Industrial Work GATOR Transportation & Energy Services is hiring CDL Class A Semi Truck Drivers. GATOR is acquiring additional trucks and will have a few seats available for qualified drivers. Drivers will primarily pull flatbeds in and out of various customer locations throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. This work supports oilfield, energy, construction, and industrial customers. This is not a 9-to-5 driving job. Hours and schedules may vary based on customer demand, job requirements, weather, and operational needs. We are looking for drivers who understand that this industry requires flexibility, communication, and a team-first attitude. GATOR has a close group of drivers, and we are looking for people who fit that culture — dependable, coachable, safety-focused, and willing to help the team succeed.

Job Duties:
Safely operate a Class A semi truck with flatbed / stepdeck / heavy haul trailer Haul equipment, materials, pipe, supplies, and other customer freight Properly secure loads using chains, straps, binders, tarps, and other securement equipment Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate logs, paperwork, and delivery documentation Communicate with dispatch, customers, supervisors, and other drivers Follow DOT, FMCSA, customer, and company safety requirements Represent GATOR professionally at customer locations Assist with basic jobsite coordination when needed Keep assigned truck clean, organized, and properly cared for
Requirements:
Valid CDL Class A Current DOT medical card Clean driving record preferred Flatbed experience preferred Oil and gas experience preferred Must be safety-minded and dependable Must be coachable and willing to follow company and customer procedures Must be able to work flexible hours based on customer demand Must be able to pass a drug screen Must be able to pass applicable background and motor vehicle checks Must be able to lift, pull, climb, secure loads, and work outside in various weather conditions
Preferred Experience:
Flatbed load securement Oilfield or energy transportation Pipe, equipment, or material hauling Working around active jobsites, well pads, plants, yards, and industrial locations Operating in
PA, OH, and WV Who We Are Looking For:
