Job Description

Main Tasks
Job Summary:
Executes daily deliveries using a 26 foot Non CDL Box Truck to customers Loads and unloads trucks by hand or pallet jack; limited use of lift gates Provides excellent customer service Prepares product for shipping to include boxing and shrink wrapping Ensures deliveries are made in a safe and timely manner to meet customer needs Complies with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations; has DOT Medical card Conducts pre and post trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues Home daily - no overnight routes Additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent education Must have a valid drivers license Must have current DOT medical card 21+ years of age 1+ years of driving experience operating a 26-foot box truck Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or with a team Prior warehouse experience Good customer service skills Must possess attention to detail Effective communication, include speaking, writing, active listening skills with the ability to communicate Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical equipment such as forklifts and other machinery. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Ability to work in temperature conditions between 45 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit; may occasionally exceed 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand; walk; bend; stoop; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach/lift with hands and arms up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Routes traveled will be regional delivery routes returning home daily
