Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work in various construction environments. Duties Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and soil to designated locations. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the dump truck to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with construction crews to understand material needs and delivery schedules. Safely navigate construction sites while adhering to all safety regulations. Assist with backhoe operation, grader operation, and other heavy equipment as needed. Participate in digging and building tasks on-site when required. Maintain accurate logs of materials transported and delivery times. Experience Proven experience operating dump trucks and other heavy equipment, including Caterpillar machinery. Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting and performing minor repairs on equipment. Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols is preferred. Experience with backhoe operation, tanker driving, and grader operation is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
