Job Description
Warehouse on Wheels is hiring a Class A CDL Driver in Zelienople, PA. This is a full-time position.
Follow approved navigation tools, including GPS and maps, to reach destinations safely and efficiently. Inspections and Vehicle Care Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor, trailer, and equipment to identify operational concerns.
Perform basic vehicle upkeep as needed, including fueling, checking tire pressure, and cleaning windshields. Compliance and Documentation Comply with ICC and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Track and document hours worked in accordance with legal requirements.
Accurately record equipment movement, including the date, time, location, and other relevant details. Safety and Awareness Stay alert to weather and road conditions while operating vehicles.
High levels of alertness, focus, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for working with dispatch, supervisors, and customers.
Competency in inspecting equipment to ensure safe operation.
Experience driving manual transmission vehicles. Physical Requirements Physical and mental fitness to perform the job safely and effectively.
Ability to climb in and out of truck cabs and inspect equipment through bending, stooping, and walking.
Capacity to sit for extended periods while operating equipment.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Preferred Experience Rollback experience is a plus but not required.
Valid Class A CDL. Driving Experience At least two years of proven commercial truck driving experience is required.
Clean driving record. Screening Requirements Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
