About the Position As a CDL Driver - North Slope Operations, you'll support a variety of transportation needs throughout Prudhoe Bay. Responsibilities include fuel delivery, solid waste transportation, and other operational driving assignments while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service. This is a full-time rotational position based in Deadhorse, Alaska. Typical schedules include 2 weeks on/2 weeks off or 3 weeks on/3 weeks off. While on rotation, employees reside at Brooks Camp, where lodging and meals are provided. What You'll Do Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in support of North Slope operations. Transport fuel, solid waste, and other assigned materials in accordance with company procedures and DOT regulations. Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections. Safely navigate Arctic roads, changing weather conditions, and remote work locations. Completely required driver logs, inspection reports, and operational documentation accurately. Maintain compliance with all company safety policies, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR), DOT requirements, and environmental regulations. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors. What We're Looking For Minimum of two (2) years of experience operating Class A CDL vehicles. Experience operating straight trucks, tractor-trailers, and doubles. Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Hazardous Materials (HazMat) Endorsement required. Tanker Endorsement required. Current Medical Examiner's Certificate. Meets all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) driver qualification requirements. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work safely in Arctic weather conditions. Ability to lift, move, and handle materials in an industrial environment. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and fitness-for-duty examination. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
