Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking energetic and responsible CDL (Commercial Driver's License) drivers to join our dynamic transportation team. In this vital role, you will operate various types of vehicles, including Dry Van, Reefer Trailers, Flat Bed, Low-Boy, Side-Dump, Belly-Dump and Box Trucks in city streets and highways. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to all safety and transportation regulations. This is an exciting opportunity for drivers passionate about providing reliable transit services and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each shift to ensure optimal safety and maintenance standards are met Navigate city streets efficiently while providing excellent customer service Communicate effectively with dispatchers and or Broker Adhere strictly to transportation safety regulations, traffic laws, and state transportation guidelines during all driving activities Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, freight counts, and incident reports as required by DOT regulations Requirements Valid CDL license with appropriate endorsements such as air brake certification, Tanker Endorsement, Twic Card and Physical DOT Card Proven experience in either type of Trailers and a strong understanding of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques Mechanical knowledge for vehicle inspections and basic maintenance troubleshooting Familiarity with city street navigation, traffic patterns, and adverse weather driving conditions as well as state to state highways. Excellent communication skills in English for clear interaction Knowledge of transportation safety regulations including DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and state transportation laws Ability to operate two-way radios effectively for driver communication during routes if need be Prior experience is highly desirable but not needed Join our team to drive safely while delivering outstanding service! $65,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year
