Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight with precision, safety, and efficiency. In this role, you will operate tractor-trailers across various routes, including over-the-road (OTR)REGIONAL
journeys, ensuring timely delivery of goods while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise in handling steel plate and round pipe will be essential in maintaining our commitment to excellence. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers on OTR routes, flatbed material loads Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques and proper truck loading/unloading procedures Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules Transport automobile parts or other specialized cargo with precision and care Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and all regulations at all times Conduct pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance Document delivery details accurately, including logs for hours of service, cargo manifests, and incident reports Load & unload freight safely while adhering to logistics cargo handling protocols and manual transmission driving requirements Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid CDL A license Strong knowledge of truck driving safety regulations including FMCSA and DOT Skilled in operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers with manual transmission Excellent route planning abilities utilizing GPS navigation tools for efficient deliveries Experience with hazardous goods transportation and dangerous goods handling procedures Ability to manually handle cargo safely during loading/unloading processes Familiarity with logistics cargo handling practices for steel and pipe Strong driving skills with a focus on route driving safety and delivery accuracy Knowledge of truck loading/unloading techniques to optimize space and secure freight properly Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise makes a tangible impact!
