Tow Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Tow Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tow trucks to assist with vehicle recoveries, roadside assistance, and transporting vehicles to designated locations. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and customer service will ensure efficient service delivery while maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles safely and efficiently Conduct vehicle inspections to assess mechanical issues and determine appropriate recovery methods Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or specialized lifting tools Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, dispatchers, and roadside assistance teams Manage conflict situations professionally, resolving issues calmly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction Perform basic automotive diagnostics and repairs when necessary to facilitate vehicle recovery or transport Maintain accurate logs of all recoveries, loads, unloads, and service reports for record-keeping purposes Requirements Valid class d "chauffeur's " driver's license with a clean driving record and experience operating tow trucks Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic battery jump-starting and lock-outs Experience driving and working in all weather conditions. Familiarity with automotive repair tools and equipment Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage conflicts professionally Knowledge of load & unload procedures ensuring safety during vehicle handling Prior mechanic experience is highly desirable Join us if you're eager to leverage your driving skills, mechanical expertise, and passion for helping others!
