Job Description

Transport Driver Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and professional Transport Driver to provide non-emergency medical transportation services. The ideal candidate will operate passenger vehicles, including passenger vans, to safely and efficiently transport clients to medical appointments and other destinations. This role requires excellent communication skills, punctuality, and a strong commitment to safety and client satisfaction. The driver will be responsible for managing daily trip assignments via a company app, maintaining vehicle readiness, and ensuring timely arrivals for all scheduled trips. Duties Operate passenger vehicles, including passenger vans, to transport clients safely and comfortably. Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to confirm trip details and address any changes or concerns. Manage daily trip assignments through the company's mobile app, checking schedules each evening for the upcoming day's routes. Ensure punctuality for all scheduled medical appointments, understanding that timeliness is critical in this role. Maintain the assigned vehicle in good condition, performing regular checks and staying on top of routine maintenance. Follow GPS navigation instructions to reach destinations efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols. Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and attentive to clients' needs during transportation. Demonstrate excellent attendance and reliability as top priorities for consistent service delivery. Requirements/preferred Proven experience in non-emergency medical transportation or related fields such as medical transportation services or passenger van operation. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience with GPS navigation systems and mobile apps used for trip management. Strong communication skills for client interaction and coordination with dispatch teams. Ability to operate passenger vehicles safely and responsibly under various conditions. Excellent punctuality and attendance record; reliability is essential. Taking time to have routine vehicle maintenance checks and report issues promptly. Medical transportation experience is preferred but not mandatory; a commitment to safety and service excellence is required. Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
