Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable CDL Class B licensed driver to join our team to make local deliveries. Responsibilities Deliver building materials in a timely efficient manner to our customer base. Plan routes effectively for timely deliveries while considering traffic patterns and road conditions. Load and unload material as required, utilizing forklifts when necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the road and at job sites. Communicate effectively with shipping manager. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Knowledge of building materials and ability to identify them Strong knowledge of route driving techniques and logistics. Good communication skills both verbal and written Commitment to maintaining safety standards on the road and at job sites. 1-2 years of experience with delivering lumber products is a plus Ability to pass drug screening
