HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH FLATBEDS

Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual methods, ensuring proper handling and securement of goods. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues, adhering to all DOT regulations. Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or route planning tools, maintaining punctuality and optimizing delivery schedules. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation laws and company policies during vehicle operation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery status or any issues encountered on the route. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, inspection reports, and other required documentation. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with necessary endorsements for the type of vehicle operated (e.g., tanker endorsement if applicable). Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with freight handling. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles and familiarity with various truck types such as flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or manual methods; experience with freight handling is preferred. Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety protocols for commercial vehicles. Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and documentation accuracy.
