Job Description
TransForce Inc. seeks a CDL A Delivery Night Driver to support safe, reliable nighttime transportation for regional customers. In this role, you will operate CDL A trucks on scheduled routes, complete timely pickups and deliveries, and perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections. You'll follow DOT regulations, maintain accurate logs, and provide professional customer service at each stop. Working within TransForce's safety-focused, integrity-driven culture, you help ensure dependable freight movement while representing both TransForce and client fleets on the road. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers on designated night routes for pickup and delivery of freight Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and promptly report any mechanical or safety issues Adhere to all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and hours-of-service requirements Accurately load, secure, and unload freight while minimizing damage and maintaining documentation Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and electronic documentation as required Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and operations to ensure on-time deliveries Provide professional, courteous customer service at delivery and pickup locations Follow route plans while adapting to traffic, weather, and scheduling changes as needed Required Skills CDL A truck operation Night driving DOT compliance Vehicle inspection Electronic logging (ELD) Freight loading and securing Route planning and navigation Defensive driving Time management Customer service
