Job Description

Job Overview MSU LLC is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious Non-CDL Commercial Truck Driver for regional routes throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and Atlanta. This position offers consistent miles, steady freight, and excellent work-life balance— you will be home most days of the week . If you have a clean driving record, experience operating 24'-26' straight/box trucks, and take pride in punctuality and safe driving, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a 24'-26' non-CDL straight/box truck across regional routes in NC ,SC and Atlanta. Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with safety standards. Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and manual handling techniques for cargo management Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazard materials regulations, DOT standards, and safety procedures for truck loading/unloading Ability to operate GPS navigation systems effectively to follow planned routes precisely Experience with freight handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus Strong commitment to safety protocols and compliance with all federal and state trucking regulations Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules, coordinating with dispatch as needed. Utilize mobile apps/ELD for navigation, check-ins, and proof-of-delivery updates. Ensure cargo is secure and adhere to all federal, state, and local highway safety regulations. Maintain clean equipment and report any maintenance needs promptly.
Schedule & Home Time Route:
Regional (primarily North Carolina & South Carolina).
Home Time:
Home most days/nights of the week (predictable schedules, minimal overnight stays if any).
Days:
[e.g., Monday - Friday, occasional weekend shift if needed].
Qualifications & Requirements Driver's License:
Valid Driver's License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
DOT Medical Card:
Current DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one prior to start).
Age Requirement:
Must be at least 21 years of age (for interstate operations).
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (26ft box truck, straight truck, or large commercial cargo van preferred).
Background & Screening:
Must be able to pass a standard pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Technology:
