Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an OTR Hotshot Driver and experience the thrill of delivering critical freight across multiple regions with speed and precision! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for transporting time-sensitive loads using box trucks and heavy-duty vehicles, ensuring on-time deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Your expertise in route driving, load & unload procedures, and customer service will keep our operations running smoothly and our clients satisfied. This position offers a fast-paced, rewarding environment where your driving skills and dedication make a real impact every day. Duties Safely operate heavy-duty trucks transport urgent freight across designated routes. Deliver packages promptly to customers, maintaining excellent communication to dispatch by communicating professionally and addressing any delivery concerns. Plan optimal routes for timely deliveries while adapting to traffic conditions and unforeseen obstacles. Conduct pre-trip inspections, monitor vehicle performance during trips, and perform basic maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance. Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and route reports for accountability and operational efficiency. Qualitifications MUST have CLASS A CDL and up to date MEDICAL card Must have ( VERIFIABLE ) experience in commercial driving and Hotshot driving Strong communication skills to ensure positive interactions during deliveries. Knowledge of various ELD software is a plus Hands-on experience with Tarping loads, strapping and chaining loads to ensure proper securement. MUST be able to change vehicle and trailer tires when needed Knowledge of load securement techniques, safety protocols, and DOT regulations for interstate travel. MUST have Excellent driving record with a valid driver's license. MUST have PPE on person at ALL times. (some loads require drivers to have on
