Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team in the Charleston, SC as well as Summerville, SC and surrounding areas. As a Dump Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating dump trucks and other heavy equipment to transport materials to and from construction sites. If you have a strong work ethic and a passion for operating heavy machinery, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate dump trucks and other heavy equipment to transport materials
  • Load and unload materials onto the truck using appropriate equipment
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating the truck
  • Perform routine maintenance on the truck, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads
  • Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each job
Requirements:
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
  • Proven experience operating dump trucks and other heavy equipment
  • Knowledge of horizontal drilling, paving, building, and digging processes
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment brands such as Western Star
  • Ability to safely operate loaders and bulldozers is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
