Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in customer service and automotive knowledge, ensuring safe and efficient towing operations. This role requires excellent conflict management skills and the ability to operate various types of tow trucks, including flatbeds. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for providing assistance to customers in need while maintaining professionalism and safety at all times. Duties Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently to transport vehicles to designated locations. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting stranded motorists and addressing their concerns. Perform basic automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle conditions prior to towing. Utilize conflict management skills to handle difficult situations with customers calmly and effectively. Maintain accurate records of towing services provided, including vehicle details and customer interactions. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on tow trucks to ensure they are in safe working condition. Demonstrate mechanical knowledge by performing minor repairs or adjustments as needed. Operate additional equipment such as forklifts when necessary for vehicle recovery. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience operating tow trucks, particularly flatbeds, is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Knowledge of automotive repair and diagnostics is a plus. Ability to manage conflicts professionally and resolve issues promptly. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is beneficial. Mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.
