Our drivers are the backbone of our logistic solutions, providing safe, reliable transport of goods through dedicated fleet services, emphasizing optimized supply chain operations. As a Regional CDL A Driver with Premier, you will experience the integrity of working with a company that values professionalism and safe driving in delivering client satisfaction across various destinations. Responsibilities Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods to regional destinations ensuring timely delivery. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, complying with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods). Coordinate with the logistics team to track deliveries and provide updates on ETA, delays, or any issues encountered on the road. Manage documentation, such as truck logs, cargo records, fuel consumption reports, and incident reports complying with company and federal regulations. Assist with the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring safety and efficiency. Maintain communication with dispatch and respond to dispatch instructions. Required Skills Proficiency in driving large vehicles and applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations. Exceptional time management and organizational skills. Strong navigation ability and familiarity with regional route planning. Effective communication skills for interacting with dispatchers, clients, and regulatory personnel.
