Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our small, family-owned transportation team. We respect your personal / family time. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers across various routes, including over-the-road (OTR) driving, to deliver freight efficiently and reliably. Your expertise in handling trailers, tankers, and other specialized cargo will ensure our deliveries meet the highest safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers on diverse routes, including OTR driving routes, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) standards Transport a variety of freight Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery routes and meet delivery schedules Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and cargo manifests in accordance with DOT and FMCSA regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery status, or any issues encountered during transit Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and proven experience in commercial truck driving Experience operating hoppers, tankers, and doubles Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient delivery execution Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, and safety protocols for truck driving Experience with manual and automatic transmission trucks Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service excellence Join us as a CDL A Truck Driver and become an essential part of our logistics network!
