Responsibilities Operate CDL A tractor-trailer for regional and OTR flatbed freight across the eastern U. S. Secure, tarp, and inspect flatbed loads per company and DOT safety standards. Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and report defects promptly. Follow FMCSA regulations, Hours-of-Service rules, and company safety policies. Maintain accurate logs, trip records, and delivery documentation. Communicate clearly with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and delivery status. Provide professional, courteous service at customer locations. Care for and report maintenance needs on assigned modern equipment.
