Roll-Off Driver

Duties Safely operate roll-off trucks, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and flatbed vehicles, to transport waste containers to designated locations. Load and unload large roll-off containers with precision, ensuring proper placement for efficient disposal or recycling processes. Manage route driving schedules, adhering to planned routes and delivery timelines while optimizing fuel efficiency. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers, including refrigerated trailers and tanker units when applicable. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance records. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate pickups, drop-offs, and route adjustments. Operate auxiliary equipment such as forklifts when necessary for container handling or loading operations. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred but not required; training available for qualified candidates. Prior experience driving tractor-trailers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks in a commercial setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of freight handling, load & unload procedures, and route driving best practices. Ability to operate specialized equipment such as forklifts safely when needed. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to truck driving and material handling. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and dispatchers effectively. Pay:

$26.49 - $31.90 per hour
