About the Role Dexter is hiring a CDL Driver for a dedicated route delivering trailer parts and products to our customers. This position offers steady work, well-maintained equipment, and a schedule that gets you home weekends and holidays! Additional Details Average earnings b ased on the following weekly details: 2,700-3000 miles per week 3 overnights per week 4 deliveries per week Home weekends and holidays Dedicated route - No forced dispatch or unpredictable routes Driver-friendly schedule designed to support work-life balance Late-model Freightliner automatic sleeper cabs Pull 53' Dry Van, Flatbed, or Conestoga trailers Stable, year-round freight delivering to Dexter branch locations Supportive team that values safety and respects our drivers Route Information Dedicated deliveries to Dexter branches in: Florida North Carolina Alabama Schedule typically begins Sunday or Monday and returns Thursday or Friday What You'll Do Safely transport trailer parts and products to Dexter branch locations Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Complete required DOT logs and delivery documentation Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, road conditions, or equipment concerns Follow all DOT, federal, state, and company safety regulations Drive safely and professionally in varying weather and road conditions What We're Looking For 21 years of age or older Valid Class A CDL At least 1 year of commercial driving experience (manual experience required) Van or Flatbed experience preferred Clean driving record (no DWI/DUI in the last 3 years) Knowledge of DOT and truck driving regulations Ability to handle long driving days when needed Why Work at Dexter?
