We're Hiring:
CDL Class A Driver- Join Our Team! Do you enjoy working outdoors and operating large mobile equipment? Are you detail-oriented and knowledgeable about DOT regulations? If so, we want to hear from you! Work weekday day shifts only, Monday to Friday, and be home every night. Competitive wages What You'll Bring High school diploma or GED preferred Valid Class A CDL (Tanker and HazMat endorsements are a plus) Minimum of 9 months experience operating large mobile equipment or hauling vehicles Comfort using smartphone/GPS technology Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office; SAP experience is an asset) Knowledge of traffic regulations and load restrictions Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Flexibility to work in various weather conditions Strong customer service skills What You'll Do Safely operate diesel straight trucks and tractor/trailers (roll-off, dump, and van trailers) Pick up and deliver steel products and materials to suppliers and customers Follow established procedures while ensuring full compliance with DOT regulations Read and work from invoices, shipping tickets, and electronic instructions Maintain accurate driver logs, trip reports, and inspection reports Assist with loading/unloading, secure loads properly, and ensure safe transport Maintain professional and courteous relationships with customers and vendors Perform routine vehicle cleaning and basic upkeep What the Role Involves Consistent focus and attention to detail while driving and handling loads Physical activity including securing loads and assisting with unloading Working in a variety of weather conditions, with most time spent in a truck cab Exposure to normal driving conditions including noise, vibration, and fumes
