OTR Driver Job Description Job Summary Crosslin Trucking LLC is seeking reliable and professional Over-the-Road (OTR) Drivers to safely transport freight across state lines. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and committed to delivering loads on time while representing the company with professionalism. Responsibilities Operate a commercial motor vehicle safely and efficiently in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies Transport freight over long distances, including overnight and multi-day trips Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment Maintain accurate driver logs, electronic logs (ELDs), and required paperwork Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding load status, delays, or issues Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of freight when applicable Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws at all times Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned truck Represent Crosslin Trucking LLC in a professional manner with customers and the public

Requirements:

Qualifications Valid Class A CDL (Required) Minimum [2 years] verifiable OTR driving experience preferred Clean driving record and PSP/MVR Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices Ability to manage time effectively and meet delivery schedules Physically able to sit for extended periods and perform job-related tasks
