Job Description

PODS is seeking a reliable CDL Driver to safely deliver, pick up, and relocate portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers. In this hands-on Transportation & Logistics role, you'll operate CDL equipment, perform inspections, and ensure containers are properly placed and secured. You'll be the face of PODS on-site, providing friendly, problem-solving customer service while following strict safety and DOT guidelines. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL vehicle to deliver, pick up, and relocate PODS containers for residential and commercial customers. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and follow all DOT and company safety standards. Load, secure, and unload containers using proper equipment and safe material-handling practices. Interact with customers on-site, providing friendly, solution-focused service and resolving basic issues. Follow assigned routes and schedules while adapting to traffic, weather, and site conditions. Complete required logs, delivery documentation, and mobile dispatch updates accurately and on time. Report maintenance needs, safety concerns, and incidents promptly to supervisors. Support teammates and logistics staff to meet daily service and performance goals.
