Job Description

This position is responsible for transporting guests to and from Gatlinburg to the property and/or around the property during the sales presentation to models.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Accountable/responsible for inspecting vehicle before and after each shift. Transports guests from the OPC Booths to the Resort and back. Responds to the transportation needs and requests of the Sales and Marketing departments. Responds to Resort pick up requests upon completion of the guest's tour. Transports guests to and from models on property tours. Asks for direction and guidance of department head as needed/required. Treats guests with respect and always delivers customer service. Communicates with fellow drivers and Tour Desk in the field via radios to coordinate pickups and drop offs. Communicates to fellow drivers of any traffic issues such as road closures, lane closures & alternate routes to use etc. Communicates with manager any issues or problems immediately. Always maintains a clean vehicle.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be able to work weekends and Holidays.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions, phone calls and radio communication from shuttle van/golf carts/ drivers, managers, guests, and the public. Clear and concise communication skills.
REASONING ABILITIES
Must be able to respond and prioritize to all areas of importance and keep a positive attitude and a calm demeanor. Sound judgment is required.
