Halvor Lines is seeking professional Reefer CDL A Truck Drivers to haul temperature-controlled freight across regional and over-the-road lanes in the U.S. and Canada. Drive well-maintained, late-model equipment with a strong safety-first focus, steady freight, and competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities include safe operation of reefer trailers, monitoring temperatures, performing inspections, and following DOT regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate refrigerated (reefer) CDL A tractor-trailers on regional and over-the-road routes across the U. S. and Canada Pickup, transport, and deliver temperature-controlled freight on time while maintaining product integrity Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and complete required logs and documentation Adhere to all DOT, company, and safety regulations, including hours-of-service and reefer unit procedures Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and support teams regarding routes, delays, and load status Monitor and manage reefer temperatures and equipment to ensure cargo quality and compliance Maintain clean, professional equipment and represent Halvor Lines positively with customers and the public Participate in ongoing safety and skills training and follow company policies for incident prevention Required Skills CDL A truck driving Refrigerated (reefer) trailer operation DOT regulations and hours-of-service compliance Trip planning and route navigation Electronic logging devices (ELD) use Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance Temperature monitoring and load securement Time management and on-time delivery Safety and accident prevention practices Customer service and professional communication
