(Department of Transportation) regulations Full Job Description ABE Concrete is hiring a Ready Mix Concrete Truck Driver to join our growing team. We are looking for a dependable, safety-conscious driver who takes pride in delivering quality service and working as part of a team. If you have a valid Class A or B CDL, commercial driving experience, and enjoy working in a team environment, we encourage you to apply. Job Type Full-time Responsibilities Safely operate a ready-mix concrete truck to transport and deliver concrete to residential, commercial, and industrial job sites. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs) and report maintenance issues promptly. Load concrete at the batch plant and safely unload at customer job sites using extension chutes when needed. Clean and maintain the truck, including the cab, exterior, mixer drum, and end-of-day washout procedures. Accurately complete delivery tickets and required documentation. Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and supervisors. Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Assist with general yard duties, housekeeping, and other assigned tasks when needed.
Qualifications Required:
Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Minimum of one (1) year of commercial driving experience Clean driving record Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and any other required screenings Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to climb, bend, stoop, squat, and work in varying weather conditions Strong work ethic and reliable attendance Excellent communication and customer service skills
