Job Description
Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
Operate trucks in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance. Navigate routes effectively while adhering to schedules. Communicate with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays during transport. Ensure that cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit. Assist in route planning to optimize delivery efficiency.Desired Qualifications:
Valid Commercial Driver s License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles. Familiarity with loading and unloading procedures for different types of freight. Strong knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation skills. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently. Strong communication skills for interaction with dispatchers and customers.
