Job Description

PODS is seeking a Local CDL Driver to safely deliver, pick up, and position our portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers. In this customer-first, safety-focused role, you'll operate CDL equipment on local routes, perform vehicle inspections, and ensure secure, damage-free handling of containers and customer property. You'll interact directly with customers, solve on-site challenges, and represent PODS' high service standards. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL vehicle to deliver, pick up, and position PODS containers on local routes Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and follow all DOT/FMCSA and company safety regulations Secure loads, operate lift-gates and handling equipment, and protect customer property Provide professional, courteous on-site customer service and resolve basic service issues Accurately complete required logs, documents, and use handheld or onboard technology Communicate with dispatch on schedules, delays, and service updates Required Skills CDL truck driving Defensive driving techniques
