Premier Transportation, a leader in logistic solutions, is currently looking for dedicated and efficient Midwest Class A CDL Drivers to join our dynamic team. Our focus on providing top-tier full-service trucking, logistics, and dedicated fleet services allows us to optimize supply chain processes for businesses across the nation, enhancing both reliability and customer satisfaction. As a Midwest driver, you will be crucial in maintaining the flow of goods within one of the most vital logistical hubs in the country. Responsibilities Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck to fulfill daily delivery assignments across the Midwest region Ensure timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes Review orders prior to delivery to verify loads and ensure correct products are dispatched Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure the vehicle is in good working order Maintain communication with dispatch to report any issues or delays that could affect delivery times Manage documentation pertaining to cargo, route details, and hours of operation in accordance with company and federal regulations Assist in loading and unloading cargo from the truck Adhere to company rules and regulations regarding the transportation of goods, including the management and reporting of any hazardous materials carried Required Skills Profound knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws Ability to manage hours of service (HOS) records using ELDs Good physical strength and agility to manage cargo handling Strong organizational and time management skills
