Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take charge of transporting freight across diverse routes with energy and precision! In this vital role, you will operate tractor-trailers and specialized equipment to deliver goods safely and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining compliance with all safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, including, flatbeds, and other specialized equipment(moffet forklift) Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques. Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel consumption. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition, report issues promptly, and maintain logs according to DOT regulations. Manage logistics cargo handling, including securing loads properly for safe transport across long distances. Deliver freight accurately to designated locations, providing excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries. Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and proven experience in commercial truck driving. Experience operating flatbeds or other specialized trucks preferred. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and DOT compliance standards. Prior delivery driving experience with a focus on freight transportation across multiple routes. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, load & unload procedures, truck loading/unloading processes, and cargo security.
