Performance Food Group is seeking an Experienced Class A Delivery Driver to support our fast-paced wholesale food distribution operations. In this field-based role, you will safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to deliver food and related products to restaurants, schools, healthcare, hospitality, and retail customers. Responsibilities include loading and unloading product, completing route deliveries on time, performing DOT-compliant inspections, and providing professional, customer-focused service at every stop. Responsibilities Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to deliver food and related products to restaurants, schools, healthcare, and retail customers on assigned routes Load, unload, and verify product against invoices, ensuring accurate and damage-free delivery Follow all DOT, company, and safety regulations, including pre- and post-trip inspections and proper use of equipment Provide professional, courteous customer service at each stop, resolving basic delivery issues on site Maintain delivery records, logs, and electronic documentation accurately and on time Communicate route issues, delays, or safety concerns to dispatch and supervision promptly Secure product and equipment, including pallets and lift gates, to prevent loss or damage Collaborate with warehouse and routing teams to improve delivery efficiency and on-time performance Required Skills Class A CDL truck operation Local route navigation and delivery DOT safety and compliance knowledge Electronic logging and delivery systems Load securement and material handling Pallet jack and liftgate operation Time management and route planning Customer service in delivery settings Vehicle inspection and basic troubleshooting Documentation and recordkeeping
