Job Description
Part-Time Non-CDL Truck Driver $225 Per Day / Part-Time, averaging three days per week, typically Monday-Wednesday. Schedule may vary occasionally. Approximately three to four nights of overnight travel per month are required. Qualified applicants are encouraged to apply. We are searching for a reliable part-time truck driver that resides in or near the Athens, Texas area to join our team -no CDL required. The role will remain part-time. Please only apply if you are seeking part-time work. The right candidate will have a strong work ethic, take excellent care of our truck and 32-foot gooseneck trailer, and communicate effectively with our customers, always maintaining a professional demeanor. You will be collecting and transporting medical waste from our healthcare customers in Texas. Pulling a trailer in busy, high-traffic areas is an essential part of this role, along with regular lifting and carrying boxes.
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Clean driving record (no major accidents)
- Experience backing up and pulling trailers in traffic
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Ability to lift and carry 20 to 40 pounds as part of regular job duties

Responsibilities:
- Operate company equipment in a safe manner
- Frequent lifting and carrying of boxes
- Adhere to designated routes and schedules, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries
- Maintain clear and professional communication with customers during all interactions
- Accurately complete necessary documentation, including manifests and deliveries, to ensure proper tracking and compliance
