Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL-A Driver to join our transportation team. This is a local driving position with drivers home every day . The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and experienced operating commercial vehicles. Our drivers operate automatic transmission trucks and are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of freight on assigned local routes. Key Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks on local routes Complete daily pickup and delivery assignments Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Properly secure and transport cargo Load and unload freight as required Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and required documentation Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies Report mechanical problems or safety concerns promptly Maintain a clean and professional driving record Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) Tank experience/endorsement preferred Previous commercial driving experience preferred Experience operating tractor-trailers or other commercial vehicles Clean and safe driving record Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices Ability to perform vehicle inspections and cargo securement Ability to load and unload freight when required Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded Ability to pass required DOT and company screening Compensation & Benefits $1,400-$1,900 per week 30% commission-based pay
