Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Team Driver to join our transportation team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced logistics operation, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of freight across various routes. As a Team Driver, you will operate tractor-trailers, including Dry Van trailers, to transport goods efficiently while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Duties Operate tractor-trailers, Dry Van trailers, across over-the-road (OTR) routes with precision and safety. Collaborate with team members to coordinate load & unload activities, ensuring cargo is handled securely and efficiently. Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems, optimizing delivery schedules while complying with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) standards. Handle logistics cargo handling tasks such as loading, unloading, securing hazardous materials (hazmat), and managing dangerous goods in accordance with hazardous materials regulations. Maintain accurate documentation for freight movement, delivery logs, and incident reports while following truck loading and unloading procedures. Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations, including those related to manual handling, manual transmission operation, and safety protocols for hazardous materials. Support the team in maintaining vehicle cleanliness and performing routine inspections to uphold safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or freight transportation with a focus on route driving. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements for hazardous materials (Hazmat) preferred. Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers is highly desirable. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazard communication standards, and safety procedures related to dangerous goods. Strong GPS navigation skills and the ability to adapt quickly to route changes or unexpected conditions. Excellent manual handling skills for truck loading/unloading tasks and logistics cargo handling. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and safety awareness. Join us as we drive excellence forward!
